🛠️ General Build & Play Rules
Welcome to VitalCraft Skyblock! To ensure that everyone enjoys a fair and engaging experience, it is crucial that all players follow the specific rules for this server. These rules are designed to maintain a fun, competitive, and respectful environment for everyone. Please note that VitalCraft is not affiliated with Mojang in any way. All players must adhere to Mojang’s End User License Agreement (EULA) and Minecraft’s Terms of Service (MUG Rules). Failure to comply may result in penalties or bans from the server.
General Conduct
Respect and Fair Play
Respect All Players: Harassment, bullying, or any form of disrespect towards other players is not tolerated. Treat others with kindness and dignity at all times.
No Griefing: You are not allowed to damage or alter another player’s island or property without explicit permission. This includes breaking or placing blocks in someone else's space.
Cheating and Exploits
No Hacks or Cheats: Only use approved mods or plugins. Cheating, hacking, or exploiting bugs is strictly prohibited. This includes any form of modified clients or third-party software that gives an unfair advantage.
No Duplication: Using glitches or methods to duplicate items is not allowed. This includes duplicating resources or blocks that are obtained through unintended mechanics or exploits.
No AFK Grinding: Avoid using glitches, exploits, or macros that allow you to grind or collect resources without actively participating in the game. AFK farming or any similar activity is prohibited.
Building and Island Management
Island Builds
Appropriate Builds: Your island must be free of offensive or inappropriate content. This includes symbols, words, or images that could be considered offensive to others. Be mindful of other players when designing your island.
No Overpowered Machines: The use of automated systems like farms, grinders, or other machines must be reasonable. Large, excessive machines that cause server lag or create unfair advantages are not allowed.
No Redstone Timing Machines: Excessive redstone machines that are designed to cause lag, crash, or exploit server mechanics will not be tolerated. Ensure that your machines are within the acceptable range of performance. Pointless redstone loops or item droppers are not allowed and will be removed. Any contraption designed to intentionally slow down or crash the server or a player's client is prohibited. This includes 0-tick farms, which will be automatically broken upon creation.
PvP and Events
PvP Conduct
No Toxic Behavior: Keep PvP encounters respectful. Insulting, grieving, or exhibiting toxic behavior towards other players is prohibited in PvP and non-PvP areas alike.
Event Integrity: Do not sabotage server events or intentionally interfere with other players' participation in events. Allow others to enjoy the event in a fair and fun way.
Trading and Economy
Trade and Market Ethics
Honest Trades: Scamming and deceptive practices in trades are strictly prohibited. Always be honest and transparent during trades, and only agree to deals that are fair for all parties involved.
Fair Market Practices: Follow the server’s guidelines for pricing items and avoid price gouging. Overcharging for items, especially using unfair methods, is not allowed.
Island and Resource Management
Island Invites: Be cautious when inviting players to your island. Do not invite players with the intent of stealing or causing harm to your island or its resources. You are responsible for the actions of your island members.
Resource Management: Items and blocks placed or stored on your island are your responsibility. Ensure that resources are properly managed and that your island remains free of unnecessary disputes.
Command Usage
Command Etiquette
Proper Use of Commands: Do not use commands for trolling, gaining an unfair advantage, or disrupting the server experience. Ensure that commands are used as intended and follow the server’s policies regarding their usage.
Reporting Issues
Report Violations: If you encounter a rule violation or an issue within the server, report it to the staff through the appropriate channels. Provide clear and concise evidence to assist in resolving the issue effectively.
Specific Guidelines
Death Traps
No Unfair Traps: Death traps that cause players to die without their consent are strictly forbidden. All traps should be clearly visible and fair, and should not exploit any game mechanics that result in unfair deaths.
PvP Regulations
No Exploits: Do not use any glitches, cheats, or exploits to gain an unfair advantage in PvP battles. Play fairly and within the boundaries of the game’s mechanics.
Pet Restrictions: Pets are not allowed in PvP arenas to ensure that combat remains balanced and fair for all players.
Island Griefing
No Unauthorized Access: Do not alter or damage another player's island without their permission. If you witness griefing, report it to the staff immediately. You will be held accountable for the actions of your island members.
Economy and Scamming
No Scamming: All trades, transactions, and sales should be honest and transparent. Scamming is strictly prohibited and will result in severe penalties.
Item Lore and Transfer
Lore Restrictions: Items with custom "Property Of" lore cannot be traded or transferred between players. These items will be deleted if the lore is removed, so ensure that items are not tampered with in this manner.
Crate Items: Items obtained from crates or similar loot sources are tradeable and can be given to other players.
Command Use
No Unauthorized Command Usage: Do not use commands meant for higher ranks, or for any purpose not authorized by the server. Misusing commands or exploiting access to rank-specific features is prohibited.
