Ore Generators
In VitalCraft Skyblock, ore generators provide a vital way to gather resources without having to manually mine. There are two types of ore generators available: Cobblestone Generators and Basalt Generators. Both of these generators serve different purposes depending on whether you're on your main island or in the Nether.
Cobblestone Generators (Main Island)
The Cobblestone Generator is the most basic type of generator and can be created on your main island. It generates cobblestone, which can be mined to acquire valuable materials such as iron, coal, gold, diamond, and more. Cobblestone generators are a great starting point for collecting resources early in the game.
How to Use:
Place the Cobblestone Generator on your main island.
Interact with the generator to break the cobblestone and collect ores.
While the Cobblestone Generator only produces cobblestone, with upgrades from /is upgrades, it can be enhanced to improve the speed at which ores spawn or increase the number of ores dropped.
Basalt Generators (Nether Island)
The Basalt Generator works similarly to the Cobblestone Generator, but it is specifically designed for use in the Nether. You can create your Nether island by simply entering a Nether portal. Once inside, you can place the Basalt Generator to begin generating basalt, as well as valuable ores like Nether Quartz, Gold, Iron, Diamond, and more.
Important:
The Basalt Generator can only be used in the Nether.
To create your Nether island, simply enter the Nether portal on your island. The moment you step through, you will be placed on your Nether island, where you can set up your Basalt Generator.
How to Use:
In the Nether, place your Basalt Generator and interact with it to start generating basalt and other ores.
Be sure to check for ores like Nether Quartz and Glowstone, which can drop in addition to basalt.
Upgrading Your Ore Generators
Both Cobblestone Generators and Basalt Generators can be enhanced using /is upgrades. To view the cost and effects of upgrading your ore generators:
Use /is menu to open your island settings.
Click on Upgrades to view the available upgrade options.
Hover over the Ore Generators upgrade to see the percentage increases and the cost of the next upgrade.
Upgrades will improve the efficiency of your generators, including increasing the speed at which ores spawn, boosting the quantity of ores produced, or even unlocking more rare ores.
Types of Upgrades
Here are the key upgrades available for Cobblestone Generators and Basalt Generators:
Ore Variety: Increases the chance of receiving rarer ores like diamond, emerald, or Nether Quartz.
Ore Output: Increases the amount of ore generated each time you interact with the generator.

Know Your Location: Ensure you're using the correct generator for your environment. Cobblestone Generators work on your main island, while Basalt Generators are reserved for the Nether.
Regular Maintenance: Keep checking your generators to collect ores regularly. The more often you interact with them, the more resources you'll gather.
