Rentals

In VitalCraft, players can rent plots of land from other players to build, farm, or store resources temporarily. Renting gives you access to land without permanently owning it, making it perfect for short-term projects, exploring new areas, or collaborating with others.

πŸ”‘ How Rentals Work

  1. Offering a Rental

    • Only the landowner can offer a plot for rent.

    • The owner sets the rental price and duration.

  2. Requesting a Rental

    • Players can apply to rent a plot by interacting with the plot through the rental system (e.g., via the land menu or rental sign).

    • The landowner must approve the request before the rental becomes active.

  3. Rental Duration

    • Rentals last for the agreed period.

    • Once the rental expires, the renter loses access unless renewed.

  4. Rental Limits

    • By default, players can rent up to 3 plots at a time.

    • Supporter ranks increase this limit by 3 additional plots per rank, allowing more flexibility for larger projects.

πŸͺ§ Setting Up Rentals

Landowners can open a plot for rentals so other players can apply:

  1. Select the plot you want to offer and click on the sign to apply.

  2. Set the rental price and duration.

  3. Make the plot available for rental in the land menu (or via the in-game rental option).

Applying for a Rental

  1. Players browse available rental plots through the rental menu or interact with the sign.

  2. They submit a rental request and pay the required fee for the duration.

  3. Once the request is approved by the landowner, the player gains access to the plot for the agreed period.

🌌 Why Rent Land?

Renting lets players:

  • Build temporary bases without permanent land ownership.

  • Access land in key areas for farming, trading, or building.

  • Explore different parts of the world before committing to a purchase.

  • Participate in events or collaborations requiring temporary space.

Renting is simple, secure, and flexible β€” giving players the freedom to grow, explore, and create without permanently claiming land.
